Confirm your target
Use the chosen programme’s requirements to identify the accepted test and target scores. A general overall score may not be the only condition; check any component requirements too.
Find your starting point
Practise a representative task in each skill area. Record which mistakes come from language knowledge and which come from unfamiliarity with the test format.
Practise with feedback
Use official preparation resources and review your answers. For speaking and writing, useful feedback matters more than repeatedly completing tasks without learning from them.
Leave time to improve
Create a realistic weekly schedule. Include revision and rest, and check booking arrangements before setting your application timeline.
